Choosing A Men’s Vitality Supplement: Nine Checks, Weighted

Quick answer

Nine checks, in order of weight: a printed number beside every ingredient, amounts near the studied ones, the named plant part, elemental mineral weight, a refund window that starts at purchase, a minimum order inside that window, a named seller, badges sorted by subject, and a sales clock that matches the reviews.

Then the same nine applied to the bottle this desk sells, scored in public, and it is not a clean sweep.

The method

The nine checks, in order of how much they matter

Ordered by weight rather than by convenience. The first four are about the label, the next three about the transaction, and the last two about who wrote the page.

1. Is there a number beside every ingredient?

The single most informative thing on a label. A printed amount can be compared with the research; a proprietary blend cannot be compared with anything, and that is usually why it is a blend.

2. Are those numbers anywhere near the studied amounts?

A printed number is necessary and not sufficient. Look each row up: many labels print amounts that are a tenth or less of what the trials used, and printing them honestly does not change the arithmetic.

3. Does it name the plant PART?

Root and leaf are different medicines with different literatures. A label that says nettle without saying which part has told you less than it looks like it has.

4. Is a mineral given as elemental weight?

Twenty milligrams of a chelate is not twenty milligrams of the mineral. Without the elemental figure the row cannot be placed against any trial or any upper limit.

5. Is there a refund window, and when does it start?

The only enforceable part of a product page. Ask when the clock starts: from purchase is the shorter, safer answer, and a page that counts from delivery is quietly giving itself the longer number.

6. Is the smallest order a reasonable trial?

If the minimum purchase is longer than the refund window, the window is being spent on finding out. That is a structural fact about the ladder rather than a fault in the product.

7. Is there a named seller with a phone number?

A numbered lot, an order ID and somebody who answers are the practical protection against the adulteration problem in this aisle. An anonymous listing has none of them.

8. Do the badges describe the factory or the formula?

Most describe the factory, and a factory audit says nothing about a formula. Sort them before reading them.

9. Does the sales page run a faster clock than the reviews?

A funnel promising day-15 results in a category that works in weeks is a marketing decision, and it is the clearest signal available about how the rest of the page was written.

Applied in public

The same nine checks, applied to the product this website sells

A checklist whose author’s own product scores nine out of nine is an advertisement with numbers on it. Here is this bottle against the nine above, marked the same way any other label would be.

This desk’s own product, scored against its own checklist
CheckScoreWhy
1. A number beside every ingredient5 / 5All seven rows carry a printed milligram. This is the best thing about this label.
2. Near the studied amounts2 / 5Saw palmetto at 20 mg against 320 mg in the trials, and nettle leaf at 20 mg where the urological research is root. Two of seven rows are a long way short.
3. Names the plant part5 / 5Berry, root, leaf and root are all specified, including the nettle row that costs it points under check two.
4. Elemental mineral weight1 / 5Boron is given as 20 mg of chelate with no elemental figure. The one number this panel does not print.
5. Refund window and its start5 / 5Sixty days from purchase, which is the shorter window and the one this website quotes everywhere.
6. Smallest order against the window2 / 5Two bottles is sixty days against a sixty-day window. The minimum order spends the whole guarantee finding out.
7. Named seller with a phone number5 / 5A numbered lot, an order desk on +1 (641) 711-1414 and a New York returns address.
8. Badges sorted by subject3 / 5Three describe the factory, five the formula, one names no clinician at all, and a vegetarian mark sits beside a gelatin capsule.
9. Sales page clock against the reviews2 / 5The seller runs a Day 15 timeline against a four-to-eight week record. That gap is the reason this check exists.

Total 30 out of 45. The three checks it fails badly are checks two, four and six, and all three are written up in full on the product pages rather than confined to this guide.

Against the nine checks
Label transparency, checks 1 and 310 / 10
Dose adequacy, checks 2 and 43 / 10
Transaction, checks 5, 6 and 712 / 15
Page honesty, checks 8 and 95 / 10
Overall30 / 45
When two labels disagree

How to weight the nine when two products score differently

The nine are not equal, and two bottles often win on different checks. Three rules settle most comparisons.

  • Check one beats everything. A label you cannot audit cannot be compared, so a product with printed amounts and a mediocre dose is a better object than a blend with a confident sales page.
  • Check two beats checks eight and nine. A badly dosed panel behind an honest page is still a badly dosed panel, and a well dosed panel behind an overheated page is still well dosed.
  • Checks five, six and seven decide it when the labels tie. The refund window, the minimum order and whether anybody answers the phone are the parts you can actually enforce.

Applied to this bottle, that weighting produces a specific recommendation rather than a general one: worth buying at the three-bottle tier, by somebody who wants a label he can audit and will give it six to eight weeks. The reasoning is on the pricing page and the dose arithmetic is on the ingredients page.

In a hurry

Running the nine checks in ninety seconds

Turn the bottle over

Fifteen seconds. Is there a number beside every named ingredient, and is the plant part named? If either answer is no, you are finished.

Pick the ingredient you have heard of and look it up

Thirty seconds. Compare the printed amount with the amount in the first trial you find. One row is usually enough to tell you how the panel was built.

Find the refund window and ask when it starts

Fifteen seconds. From purchase is the answer you want to hear.

Compare the smallest order with that window

Fifteen seconds. If the minimum order outlasts the window, you are buying more than you can send back.

Look for a phone number

Fifteen seconds. A named seller with a numbered lot and somebody who answers is the only practical protection this aisle offers.

Who writes this

Who writes these guides

This desk publishes what the bottle says, and marks the places where the seller’s page says more than the bottle does. The four claims below are the ones a sceptical reader can audit in ten minutes, which is the only reason worth making them:

  1. The label is the source. The seven panel rows and their milligrams, the two-capsule serving, the thirty servings, the sixty capsules, the other ingredients and the printed caution all come from the label artwork the manufacturer ships, read directly. Not from a review column and not from an affiliate summary.
  2. Where two sources disagree, both appear. The panel prints seven active rows. The named list this desk holds carries six of them and the manufacturer’s own listing graphic draws the same six. Sarsaparilla is the seventh. That difference is set out on the label page rather than tidied away, and it is the reason this website counts seven.
  3. Sources are real and linked in the sentence. Every study cited here was pulled through the NCBI interface and read before it was written down, and swept twice for retractions: once at paper level and once at author level. Two candidate papers were dropped at the second sweep. Every government page was opened in a browser and checked by the title it returned, and four candidate links were dropped for returning a 404 that a careless writer would have shipped.
  4. Prices are quoted with a date. The supplier publishes no ladder of its own and defers to the seller’s page. The three figures on our pricing page were read from that page on 19 September 2026 and are labelled with that date, because the seller can change them without telling us.

We earn when you buy. Horsewoodcare is the Horsewood retail desk named at the top of this page, and this website makes money on orders placed through it. That is exactly why the dose-comparison table, the two three-star reviews and the page explaining what 20 mg of saw palmetto cannot do are here: they are the places where our interest and yours pull apart, and you should be able to watch us choose.

The order desk on +1 (641) 711-1414 and [email protected] handles tracking, address changes, cancellations and refunds. It is not a sales line and this website never presents it as a way to place an order; orders go through the checkout only. Write to [email protected] about the pages themselves.
